Yeh done in the right color hid are 100x better.

My 55w 6000k are amazing at night

in projectors they rock in NA headlights not so much..

4000 to 6000 is the brightest.

3000 is yellow.

4000 to 5000 is white

6000 to 8000 is white/bluish

And it gets more purple an less output as you go up.

i tryed putting my hid's in today, and had no luck at all. i had no room to put the new xenon bulbs in and tryed to take the headlights off... which did not work to well =(

They make the plug and play kits but i recommend the HELLA ballasts if you can still find them.

yeah a chevy cavalier, 1994... and it says its just a plug and play kit.

it came with the 2 ballasts, 2 bulbs, relay harness, and zipties, mounting screws etc.

but the problem i was having was after i took the original headlights out, there was absolutly no room to work with, so i couldnt put the new bulbs in... so i tryed taking off the headlight and that **** thing wouldnt come off... im lost

It shouldnt be any harder than putting a normal bulb in, actually they are a lil smaller.
