Quite the contrary IMO. there is actually quite a bit nowadays that is good and relatively affordable. Followed by a large amount of crap and then a select few are elite and expensive. However even good or bad is relative to what you want out of a system, which is why you are getting vague runarounds right now. If you aren't ready to build or know what you want from a system then you need to read and search like I suggested.

Well, sure, mainstream brands like MTX, RF, JL, Kicker, Memphis and the like are good stuff. No one will argue with that. Pricing is a whole 'nother can of worms.

However, there are many smaller, less known companies that will spank most mainstream products for less money. Companies like Soundsplinter, Fi, Revolution Design Audio, Audioque, Digital Designs, American Bass, Resonant Engineering, Mach 5 Audio, Rainbow, CDT, Sundown, Stereo Integrity, and TC Sounds just to name a few //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
