how do people find crap on craigslist that is over 45 days old? after 45 days the listing is suppose to expire

i just got an email asking me if i had an item i posted 3/2/09

when i search for it it doesnt come up, how did this person find it?

you are doing well on the forum. it's just another person that wants to jump onto the SD ignore listing bandwagon.

as for your dilema, if you yourself posted this item forsale on CG then back date your email and see if you can find that listing in there. you should have that confirmation soemwhere in there unless if you delete all your stuff.
