i havent been here for a while, but im back now and will try to get on here as often as possible.....ist been a bit busy the last few months as i have recently moved house.....................to another country //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif (ENGLAND)

so there we have it.....

i have to say that its a totally different world here - RE and DD are recent arrivals having only been introduced there around 2 years ago or so. No Adire, eD, MMATS and quite a few others...........and the prices..............oh God!!!

but i do have a new car and system - i really couldnt leave my hobby behind

this time its an all out SQ system, nice and simple - a DD9515 (£550 here!!! = $800 US), an RF poer 1000.2, Morel 6.5" components and a Phase Linear amp which i found ever so difficult to get hold of here in the US but is widely available in England. 2x300RMS for the comps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

DD box - 4cf (net) ported box (4 lbs of polyfill) tuned to 34hz. dual 1.5ohm so getting around 1900RMS from the rf1000.2 bridged 3 ohm......sounds just the way i like it.....and whoever said DD has no SQ - get outta here!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

RM - I will get AIM up and running ASAP, although timing problems cross-Atlantic will make it quite interesting

and as for learning anything useful from me, im not too sure about that as i havent been around for so long - i only just realised eD entire range uses flat, piston like cones - when i left, the original K was just beginning to ship!!!

also, I have to tell u guys about something called the Phase Linear Aliante Ltd. - its an absolute piece of artwork, a pure puer pure pure SQ sub, but its tonality and sound qualities are astounding - I cannot believe nobody in the US distributes Phase Linear as its a Recoton product, recoton offices being based in NYC!!

but ill put all the Aliante stuff in another post!
