hhmm kinda odd

ok i was just going through some of my firewall logs and there was one on there that kinda stood out..for starters it was only scanning ports 23,000-25,000*i havent seen nothing like that in a very long time*and another realy odd thing is i ran a trace on the IP and it came up as nothing..when i say nothing i mean nothing like it was a ghost or some sh*t like that lol..any clue on how that could happened?i did some test*on a friends and my lil bros IPand they both came up norm*i dunno im kinda stumped there was no trace at all....

no, im just messin with ya no need to call names....any ways....so your using a router right? and ya did a ip trace? or what explain what ya did and i can try and shed some light i work for a online internet company so i can get an idea or if i cant i cand find someone in my office who has a clue....lol

lol k k im sorry lol but yea im using a router ..when i first noticed it i was like what the..so i dug up my friends and lil bros IP# and gave them an IP trace like i said both came up norm..so i tryed to trace that IP again and still nothing no domain name no town city state no nothing its like the ping packets or whatever theyre called just disappeared or something i dunno i never seen anything like this..also if this helps this is the only PC on my router the rest in my PS2 and Xbox well i dunno have a wireless laptop aswell but thats not even turned on*hasnt been in a couple months*

he more than likely did what any smart hacker does and masked his ip so you can't trace it. There is a way to trace him down but don't ask me how to do it, I don't work for the FBI
