You'd have to understand my genetics, how I'm wired. My granpa (rip) put a 12, 10, 8, 4 6.5s in his 1984 dodge Aries k, to cover the frequency spectrum of the classical music he would listen to, you could hear him 5 blocks away. It's in my blood lol

i had a hds315 in 5 cubes net @ 35, 8 inch octo x 18 inches long. loud as ****. stangs recommendation, not sure if it was ideal but i liked it, even on 2kw rms. loading is different in an ext cab though. you're tuned lower, i think thats why he said shrink the box, they dont like to be tuned too low you lose upper end and keep the same low end - i assume.

This will be in an extended cab truck as well. Firing it upwards with my port to the drivers side. 8 inch round port 18 inches long.

what are you going to do with that other sub hole?

I always add another baffle to the box and cut the new hole. This box was originally for a pair of 10's. I threw it on the the table saw and cut out just over 3/4" and put a new top on. Took like 10 minutes, but my table saw blade goes high enough to cut the port panels too

welp, Im on the fence of whether I like it or not. It slams lows, but dont feel it as much as the 12's I am babying it right now though. I did let it rip on a song this morning and it appears to take a bit more to wake it up then the 12's. I may invert it today also and see if that makes a difference.
