so does that mean i would need to get a better amp to get the most of my subs? with this amp, how much of the subs power am i missing out on? i wont understand wattage quantities or something so just use words like 'alot' or 'some'

Kicker Comp VRs (which is what you have) are great budget subs. They can get loud given an appropriate enclosure and sound decent while doing so.

do you know what voice coil configuration your subs are? i.e. dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm?

Well, the eBay link you showed us is for Dual 2 Ohm drivers (meaning each sub has two voice coils and each one of those coils measures give or take 2 Ohm resistance)

Do you happen to know whether or not the subs you actually have are Dual 2 Ohm as well?

by 'good amp,' i mean an amp that is compatible with these subs, not neccessarily a hella tight amp like you all probably have

how did u not know that they were CVR's....it says right on the cone CVR...anywayyys they are great subs....very loud i might add, just get a amp that can put out 800 watts rms, and you will be bangin

haha the reason i didnt know is because i am in cali where my dad lives, my subs are at home in oregon at my moms house... thanks for the info. i also might want to add more subs and shit... which means i might need to add another amp. i want two 12s and a good amp to power them, any good places you know for me to look for these things? (online stores)

look on the terminal cup, on the proloaded box, if it indeed is a Kicker brand, it will say 2 or 4 ohm, that is the load at the cup, we need this info first and a budget for an amp your willing to spend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i dont know, i cant look at the subs cuz theyre not here with me right now. you might have already looked, but there is a link to the subs i have in one of my previous posts. 120 dollaz -150 dollaz is my budget
