i've never owned one, but from what i understand they dont like running under 1 ohm other than burping. only rated as being 2 ohm stable.

Incorrect....on the bolded part.

They're 1ohm stable amplifiers.

Mine sucks a lot of current @1ohm... can't imagine .5ohm

i ran 4 at 1 ohm each on 2 300 amp alts and yes THEY **** ALOT OF CURRENT!.... but they produce alot also. so expect a hellatious electrical system upgrade if you are planning on purchasing one of these.
