Hi. I am looking to have (1) 10" sub installed in my car. The shop that will be doing the work handles the Hertz Line and The JL Audio line. I am not looking for that ground moving bass but just a nice bass fill in for that clear sound in the Cab of my car. I have herad alot of great things about both lines of Subs and amps. Can anyone out there help me to make a decession on the brand to go with? HERTZ OR JL AUDIO??? I will be needing both the amp and sub if this helps. Thank you.

either the Hertz ES250 10" Subwoofer @ 2 ohms or the JL 10W3v3-2: 10-inch @ 2 ohms. Both would be just fine with me as I am not wanting window shattering bass just crisp clean bass.

Having heard both, the Hertz has a slight edge. It was a little cleaner sounding, but that could have been due to the install. I'd go with whichever is cheaper of the two personally since u can't really go wrong. Both can be used for an SQ setup on a budget.
