They have fantastic sq and very impressive spl. One of the best all around sounding subs i have heard. I was going to pick up 2 3800s but they are just to expensive for what i want to do right now. I would highly suggest running one.

what was the box specs of the hertz sub that you heard?

1.25cuft sealed before disp. With a zapco ref 1100.1 which i think does 700-800 @ 4ohm.
