Well Im down to my 3 choices

Im in the proccess of getting a 91 Integra hatchback and my 15" wont fit in there. (Probably ccould I just like trying new subs) So After alot of thinking, compairing, and looking around im down to 3 choices. They will all be in a ported box built to there specs, all off of a MTX TA7801 that testedat around 1700w at 1 ohm.

First:

2 12" FI SSD's Copper coil, No BP -4 cu ft tunned to 33 hz

Second:

2 12" Alpine Type R's -3.5 cu ft tunned to 33hz

Third:

2 12" Re SE's -4 cu ft tunned to 33hz

Im going to buy used so I expect the Fi's to be around $275, the Alpine's at around $250 and the Re's at around $300

The problem is with one will retain the best SQ while I still Achive SQL. Im actualy leaning towards the Fi's and building a 3 cu ft sealed box and see how I like them from there. Any input will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Se's might not be as loud as the r's but they sound a lot better and get loooow

The R's are very power hungry but extreamley acurate

RE SE's Very loud and very accurate. I had the RE's and the type r's and I didnt like the SQ of the Alpines. Although they did get really loud

Or you can get serious about you subs and get one funky pup 8", that will blow them all away

I have ran both R's and SSD's i didnt think either one sounded that bad i actually liked both of them, I think i would go with the SSD's since not many people around your area would be running them.

so its between The FI's and The Re's I used to run a BTL and i lovend the build quality. I now run a RE and it kills the lows. Im stuck..

My se's don't do so great on rock music with the higher range but even in a sealed box they hammer the lows pretty good..off of barely 1000wrms. Plus they look way sexier than a type r
