Subwoofers only play up to 80hz cleanly. Anything over will sound like @ss if you want Fuller midbass, you have to beef up your door speaker installation.Another newbie question the amp I have frequency response is like 200 where as the hx is 28 to 700 will the amp still power the sub on notes over 200 even tho the amp peaks at 200 mhz. As I think added thump to mids would make the music sound fuller. Or would this distort the music and make it muddy. My kappa speakers have little to no "thump" even with an amp. They produce beautiful highs and mids however. Thanks for putting up with me! Lol
any word on the build?Update:Just bought a hx300d and ordered a t line box from ctcstang Very professional very polite and very skilled I'd recommend him to you guys as well.
Can't wait to put the 300d into the custom box made for it
All to do now is the big 3 update, agm battery (still not sure what that is exactly and check for voltage drops! I'll do before and after vids to show the difference.
Glad you like it man.I am very happy I upgraded my sub how ever. I simply do not think the dieci ds 300 could in no way keep up with the hx. The single hx (granted it's in a custom box made for it) sounds way better sq wise with at least if not more than double the out put of 2 ds in a sealed box.
