hertz sub question

Yeah I'm going to have it tuned for a single hx 300.5d (staying faithful) in hopes the 1 sub instead of 2 subs half the power will 100% make up for it. And so it gives me head room for the future as at that point I'm sure I'll have to tune back the hx until I get better highs and mids. Never used my trunk anyway! Lol sorry if I made no sense in the post I'll repost later after sleep. But would u guys suggest sticking with 1 dieci ds 300 or upgrade to 1 hx in a t line. I'm not rolling in money but I can do either if the hx is worth the money vs performance

Plus if I get only 1 hx I do not need to upgrade my amp I currently have and will still use its full power rather than have 200 to 300 of idle rms watts just sitting there if I only used 1 dieci ds

Another newbie question the amp I have frequency response is like 200 where as the hx is 28 to 700 will the amp still power the sub on notes over 200 even tho the amp peaks at 200 mhz. As I think added thump to mids would make the music sound fuller. Or would this distort the music and make it muddy. My kappa speakers have little to no "thump" even with an amp. They produce beautiful highs and mids however. Thanks for putting up with me! Lol

Update:

Just bought a hx300d and ordered a t line box from ctcstang Very professional very polite and very skilled I'd recommend him to you guys as well.

Can't wait to put the 300d into the custom box made for it

All to do now is the big 3 update, agm battery (still not sure what that is exactly and check for voltage drops! I'll do before and after vids to show the difference.

Subwoofers only play up to 80hz cleanly. Anything over will sound like @ss if you want Fuller midbass, you have to beef up your door speaker installation.

Here's what i'm talking about, there are 9 pages

any word on the build?

Perfect timing tbh. Got the tline yesterday from cscstang very very good product. Tried to put in the trunk... wouldn't directly fit going to have to remove back seat to put it through the back... One big puzzle lol. Hooked it all up in the back seat with the hx300d and the tline ran 500 watts rms to it and wow... The difference was amazing will post pics soon

I am very happy I upgraded my sub how ever. I simply do not think the dieci ds 300 could in no way keep up with the hx. The single hx (granted it's in a custom box made for it) sounds way better sq wise with at least if not more than double the out put of 2 ds in a sealed box.
