Hertz Speaker Comparison

I'm still debating which amplifier should I use to power these babies. MLK's are rated at 150w RMS 300 Peak.
I have a Kicker ZX650.4 which makes 120x4 or 325x2. But I also have a Soundstream VGA 500.4 which makes 125x4 or 500x2. My question is should I run the bi-amplification of the MLK's and send 125x4 with the vga or should I run the MLK's in mono mode sending 150watts x2 with the kicker?

It says in the Hertz Manual that by bi-amplification on the mille systems, you'll be able to achieve very high SPL values and have an audio system with bursting dynamics.

There isn't nothing wrong with not supplying the RMS factory wattage?
SS VGA is way cleaner the the kicker. the SS has more headroom and higher damping factor. The VGA was the last Super Great amp from SS.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I have read this comment many times, can someone please explain how the hellll do you know when a speaker is wanting more power?

has any one here heard the ml1600 woofer and ml240 tweet's? they are the next level up from the mlk165's. I am running an active setup now in my evo with 150 to each of the tweeters and 150 to each of the woofers. the bass responce and clarity are just stunning. this setup is quick simply insane. I do have an extra set of the ml240 signature series tweeters and ml1600 used to audition. they were only played for about a month if anyone is interested. Just wanted to find out what other peoples experience has been with these speakers.

what would you do?

i have the mlk 165 and an audison vrx4.300 (110 wrms x 4, or bridged is 350 x 2)

when i first installed them i had it at 110 goin to each side, and sounded great.

i recently bridged the amp and they sound even better, i lost some of the lower end do to adjusting the high pass crossover point up to 100.

My question is, should i bi-amp them and use 110wrms to each sub and tweet or leave it at 350wrms?

there is no audible distortion, but do you think the speakers can handle the power thermally?

and i really do not want to buy another amp
