Hertz HV 200's

I decided I want to buy a pair of HV 200 8" midbass for my install. A local dealer has quoted me $200 for the pair. Does this sound like a fair price??? Or should I be looking elsewhere????(If so where??)

Also: Is there an alternative that would perform better in this price range???

why do you want just the woofer only? you need to get a bandpass filter for it. Get a set of HSK 165 with tweets and crossover for 260$ or sth like that . PM lyttleviet i think he still has a set left.

I already have hsk 165's. I want a bit stronger midbass up front so I figured add on a set of hv 200's off of a seperate amp.

Or I might sell my hsk's so I can buy the 8" hsk three way set up from hertz (ht 25-1" tweets, hl 70-3"mids and hv 200 -8"midbass with matching 3-way x-overs.
