its gunna be ran active with pioneer premier tweets,, but ima prolly sell the tweets. so bassically what is yalls vote

is hsk or xr better for only the 5.25 woofer

The only thing JL does especially well is their Amps and Subs. There speakers aren't the greatest as I've ran a few of them. The only one I felt worth buying is their ZR line. That would be a worthy upgrade to what you have now.

hertz reached lower, and was louder and just as clear on the midrange.

i dont like the jl sets, if you want a upgrade id try to fit the 6.5 hertz
