I know that here in Salt Lake City, UT is one of the very few places that you can get Hertz stuff. It is called Car Concepts and they are well known. They have a website. They are really good at what they do. I'm getting 4 Hertz Energy 6.5 in speakers installed this coming week.

Installing an Audison amp, LRX 2.4 and Energy speakers next week. My question is about the sub to go with it in my 528. The installer suggested a Rockford since it would fit properly in the rear dash and play directly into the passenger compartment (as opposed to firing a 8W7 in the trunk). Any suggestions?

The space series are too expensive. Plus the Hi-Energy sounds MUCH better IMO. THe space is more expensive because its very shallow, in the 1" range for depth. Hi-Energy 8's won't be as much, check into them.

Ah, how much space do you have to work with? I have 2.75" with a .5" baffle. The Hi-Energy should fit. I've found the DLS Iridiums, Morel Hybrid 6.1's, as well as the Rainbow Profi's and Vanadium's to fit in the depth range. There is also the Focal 165 Slim, but I kinda didnt like the way those sounded, prefer the Hertz over them. Would like to hear the K2P but the display was down where I went.

I remember drooling over these months ago, and was rather bummed that America was not on their list of distributors. Best I could do at the time woulda been a place in canada, no thanks! Your car is $400 bucks? That's how much I was quoted for a Hi-Energy component system for 6.5's and 600 for the Space series. Also, if you contact Elettromedia they will give you a list of distributors in the US. I posted their phone number on the first page.

400's a lot less than the last price quote I heard on them.....400 isn't too bad, 6.5's would do nicely in the bird. Something to keep in mind!
