I had an odd day today. Well it was not really all that odd something I could not believe. I wanted to go to mom’s house but I decided to stop and put in some gas well right before I finished pumping in comes this black thunderbird (Think knight rider) with a flat in the driver’s side.
Dude gets out and looks at the tire and starts looking around I yelled at him "hey discount tire is just one light up. If you drive real slow, you could make it there with your rim in tact" He looks at me with a confused look and asks me if I knew how to change a tire.
I look at him like is this clown serious? He doesn’t know how to change a tire? He Didn't!!! I expect a girl not to know how to change a tire but a guy? Come on!! Id figured if he tries something I could take him out, so I went over to help. Based on his vocab. and sluggishness I'd hay he was on something but I gave him a benefit of a doubt and assisted anyway.
The guy did not know how to get the spare tire out the trunk, did not know what the jack looked like or even how to remove the hubcap. It was sad watching him struggle even though I told him what he needed to do. Imp thinking ****, this guy would have been screwed if I didn't come along. He could not follow instructions worth a ****. I decided to all the hard work because he didn’t have a clue. I had to go real slow because I was so sore from exercising with the wife. While I’m taking the old tire off we start up a conversation. He starts complaining about how he can’t afford to get a new tire at the moment and that he’s soooo poor. I asked him what he did for a living and he said Bartender at 2 different clubs. He asked what I did for a living and I told him a middle school teacher. He said he hated his job because he works at gay bars and guys keep on hitting on him. I said well is the pay any good? He said no he only clears about $300 - $400 a night. In the back of my mind I’m thinking $300 A NIGHT!?!?!?

Yea that about right. I start calculating how much this dude makes in a month.

He did help by putting the old tire in the back and putting the new tire on. I had to put the lug nuts back on myself because he might have screwed that up.
