Help with these amps.

Hey guys i can get these 2 eclipse amps from my buddy for 175 dollars. SHould i do it? They are the eclipse DA7122 and the eclipse PA5422. One will be for my sub. ( 12 inch audiobahn 1200q) and one for my front speakers. ( Pioneer TS-D1320C ) speakers and tweets. Will the mono block be good for my sub? The sub specs are Peak approx 1400 watts, and rms 700 watts. The amp is Peak 1200 and RMs 950. And my speakers Peak 180 watts, and rms 35 watts each. So everyone please voice an opinion and help, thanks!

Okay, is there anywhere to buy a cheap and decent kit? or cheap good quality wire and fuses? also should i replace the factory battery?

FYI that Eclipse Monoblock is a beast. More than enough power for your sub so make sure you properly adjust the gain.

Okay thanks and no to a new battry? Approx how much wire would i need and its the 1/0 guage correct? and which is better OCF or CCA wire? So should i try and pick up the amps too?

Not really necessary. Focus on the Big 3 instead.

If you're worried about the battery, get it checked at an auto parts store. If it's going bad, then sure; replace it. Otherwise, save the money and do some sound deadening.

Careful, you'll open a whole can of worms on this one.

Look for a 1/0 and 4ga kit from a reputable company. OFC/CCA doesn't matter much; to me it's a personal preference. If you're looking into an all-in-one solution, the Rockford RFK1D for OFC or Cadence FDA0+4k for CCA

I may go with the cadence because its ALOT cheaper.. lol and this kit will take car of the big 3 upgrade for me?

You might have enough wire left over, but I'd just buy 10 feet of 1/0 from Knu and use that. For those with a trunk-mounted battery, I'd say yes because you don't need 17 feet of 1/0 in that case, but not everyone has that luxury.

True that, but if you're competent with a pair of snips and crimper, you can save some cash by just buying the ring terminals and wire yourself.

would the Cadence Uda0+4k 0+4 Gauge Dual Amplifier Kit be better for only 20 bucks more?

They're saying it has a higher copper content, but I think you're really just paying for distros that have a voltmeter on them. I'd personally save the 20 bucks and buy the Fda kit and use the difference to order more RCAs since the kit only comes with one pair.
