A while back i asked should i go with a (matts3500 with 2 jl 12" w7) or (2 jl 1000/v2 with 2 jl 12"w7). Everyone said the matts would fry the w7s in which i think so to after reading up on it. So i just received the 2 jl 1000/1 and im stuck wondering if i want to go with the w7s now . so any help would help. Also im very new to all this stuff as u can see . oh yeah would a capacitor ,extra battery help. thanks to anyone who can help.

NO on the cap but yes on the 2nd batt. the w7 are a great driver but are rather expensive. if you are looking for more of a "boom" factor and still haveing it sound good i would go with 2 dd2512's. the dd's with the power you have would SLAM!!

if your lookin more towards sq and have somewhat deep pockets, then the w7 is an excellent choice.

and dont be fooled, thoes w7's WILL get loud and sound very good doing so.

What are your goals? For the price of those w7's, there are many other subs out there that will do different things for you based on if you want sq, sql, or just plain loud
