help with subs for a hatch

I think i am going to go with a 15'' FI BL sub, and build my own box.

Now th only problem i have is that when you buy the sub there are options for upgrading the sub like: P Chamfer, Cooling, Flatwind, Daily or SPL, Extreme lead, and universal or not. I dont know which upgrades i should get because i dont understand what they are. The other problem i have is if i should get dual 1 or dual 2 ohms, and what amp i should get to run this sub.

So you already have the Kenwood amp is that correct? If so go with an AQ SDC 2.5 15, build your own box and call it a day you will be more than happy with SQ and output.

No i still need to buy an amp, and i think im pretty much sold on the 15'' FI BL, i just have to choose what options i want on it and figure out what amp i should get.

Will that sub beat super hard like ive heard from people?

the Fi BL wth beat super hard Look into a MTX TA 7801 it does 1200rms at 1 ohm and are pretty underratted.

I would get the Q with a little over 1k on it, to maximize efficiency

for your power the Q would be a better / cheaper option. There for sale all the time. No matter what, the box is the main thing you should be concerned with.
