Help with new speakers for my 1999 Nissan Maxima

I plan on upgrading my stock front and rear deck speakers in my 1999 Nissan Maxima(non-bose) . Will 6 3/4 speakers fit directly in my car without modification in both my front and rear deacks or do I have to go with 6 1/2 speakers all around? The speakers I plan on getting in either sze are the alpine type-r's.
