You want something reliable amp wose. Alpine PDX series, Diamond Audio (any of the series), and many others. Another amp that would do you good is a Xenon 200.2. Buying 30 RMS (or more) over what your components take isn't bad, in fact it is good so as you do not drive your amp into clipping, and reduce chances of overheating.
Look for an amp that specifically states it does .05% THD at RMS power. This ensures a very nice clean signal. Make sure to get Twisted RCA cables as your signal to the amp needs to be protected very well, because whatever interference you signal RCA's pickup inbetween your head unit and amp, get amplified with the increase in power.
Also, I'd suggest running 14 or 16 gauge wire for your speaker wiring.
Also, try to find bench test or birth mark performance sheets that other users have posted about their amps. This gives you a relative idea on the quality, and ratings of an amp at its' true value, rather than just the manufacturers selling specs. For example, my Xenon 600.1 will do 821 Watts RMS (sine wave) before it reaches a 1% distrotion level, the level in which many people can audibly hear distortion. My Xenon 200.4 does a total of 938 RMS before finding the 1% distortion range. Some other amps that like to overshoot their specs in a good way are Rockford Fosgate Punch (non-chromey), Diamond Audio, Pioneer Premier, Planet Audio, Arc Audio, and the Older Phoenix Gold stuff. Just quick examples.
Search for 'benchtest' or 'birthsheet' threads, and your bound to find the big thread.
