help with 2 amps

Whats up i need some help with my system i have 2 sony xplod 1200 w 12 inch subs and i have them bridged to a sony 1200 watt amp. My friend is about to sell me his sony amp (its the same one) i've already heard all the sony sucks jokes so please leave them out I just want to know if they would sound better with one sub on each amp, and would i need a cap for one or both amps.

Electrical upgrades before caps ALWAYS. Of course more power will sound better.. well.. louder.

It depends on what the RMS is and at what Ohm. But like phantom240 said, it's better to upgrade the electrical instead of using caps.
