Help Urgent!!

I just got a RS MASSIVE amp from my buddy for my 12 inch alpine type Rs...i had a Tsunami but it was a bad amp so i had to send it back to get repaired...so im hookin this amp up and the light turns on to the amp showin its workin but theres one problem when i have my volume low the bass sounds fine but when i turn it up ..it sounds like CRAP.My subs make this very weird noise..I kinda stuffed the ground cable and the power cable in without really trimin the wire that didnt fit..should i do that...and also the crossovers might be wrong on the amp...i dunno im so confused and heated bc we were workin on it all night and had no clue...we cant turn the bass boost up either on the amp bc my subs make a weird noise...i dont htink its my subs bc they sound fine at low volumes..does anyone have any suggestions..im in desparate need of help lol..thanx

well if their dvc's u coulda hooked them up wrong..

or

ur subs could be blown,

push the cone in in the middle and see if they make any noise, if they do then there blown but u might be able to fix them..

it sounds like you're prolly underpowering them what the rms on the amp?
