ok so i drive a 1998 grand prix and have

ap 30001d

0g ran

hc800 in trunk

speakers stated below in car without amp

stock alt

stock batt under hood

i would like to buy 2 new hdc3 15s but i found this deal on some older ones http://toledo.craigslist.org/ele/1562152808.html 275 for subs or 300 for sub and battery and 0g is it legit?

should i get a battery up front and one in back or a new alt?? opinions? and what wouold be a good 4 channel amp for these speakers

up front: 2 pioneer ts-g1341rs 130 watt max 25 w NOM. 4 ohm impedance

back: 2 pioneer ts-a6962r 250 watt max 40 w NOM. 4 ohm impedance

got them for 35 bucks brand new

C'mon dude you know the drill, tell us what you're running. Amp, subs, ohm load, power/ground wire.

Lets hear it...

EDIT: You really dont need an amp on those speakers, your HU "should" be able to push them just fine with that kind of power limit.

Yea, its a good deal.

We can't help you because you've provided zero useful information. We don't know how big your current alternator is or how much power you're planning to run, so we can't recommend anything.

I'm going to be brutally honest about those Pioneer speakers you're thinking of powering too. They ****. I wouldn't even put them in my vehicle, let alone buy an amplifier to power them.

Honest indeed, I guess I'm too nice on here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

whats a good set for the cheap...i have heard good things about powerbass and ther cheap as well

Well of course, they're the older models. They have been used and abused. You can risk getting them and easily breaking them or getting the 15's and be loud and happy. ^2u

As for power, you should upgrade your stock batt. How many amps is your alt output?

If I were you, I'd opt to buy a single pair of components rather than 2 pairs of coaxials. If you'll do that, you have several decent options for very little money.

Cheap: http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/rsd65cs.aspx

$100-ish: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Rockford-Fosgate-T152S-5-1-4-Component-Speakers_W0QQitemZ400098203150QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Speakers?hash=item5d27b6160e

Either way, you'll at least have a pair of speakers that're worth amping...

to be honest i am not sure and cant find it on google for the short minute i looked, waht kind of batt up front should i get? i believe 80a tho
Kinetik Hc1800 will work plus the HC800 in the back should be enough to power that amp. although you really dont need it, I'd upgrade your alt anyway b/c it will help the system and the car's performance and more power wont hurt either. Just gotta be ready to dish out the cash for a reliable/ durable alt.
