Help Please!!!!

I just got the Alpine PDX 1000.1 and I can't get it to work properly. No matter what I try, I keep blowing all four fuses. I've checked and then double checked all the wiring and conections to my subs but no matter what they keep popping.

Do the fuses pop as soon as you turn it on ?

The subs are dual 2 ohm voice coils and they are both wired correctly as well as the power and ground. The fuses only pop as soon as I start to bring the volume up. Could it be posible that the fuses are popping because my subs are too weak for amount of power that the amp is giving them. It doesn't make sense to me because if that were the case wouldn't the subs be blowing and not the fuses?

did you check the power wire like stated? Obviously something is touching bare metal causing a short in your system.

The gain is set at zero. I can't bring the gain up at all without the fuses going or the subs sounding like they're gonna blow.

They pop as soon as the volumes at 25 out of 35.

yea. something is obviously wrong.
if u say u checked it, well, you didnt check it well enough.

There is an issue with your wiring.

If u cant see it easily, take it all out and re do it.

make sure ur wire is cut to proper lengths, make sure nothing is able to touch any metal, etc etc.

Yeah. Thats what I was worried about. It seems like everytime I buy a new piece of equipment for my system it requires me to completely gut my trunk out and re-think the instalation.
