i have 2 MA 120xe's there dual 4 ohm and there ran off a kicker zx300.1... i have them wired down to 2 ohms and one of my subs make a popping noise.. i had them wired at 4 ohm at it wasnt doing it... also when i turn up the bass knob abd the volume up a lil my amp completlt shut off... whats going on?

is that amp stable @ 1 ohm?

no its not one ohm stable but i looked on rockfordfosgate.com wiring diagram to get 2 ohms

you looked wrong. you cant get a 2ohm load out of 2 dual 4s

the subs arent wired together.. there both wired seperate to make 2 ohms

Try rewiring them at 8 ohms each and connect them.... =4ohms

amp is def stable at 2 ohms
