help please...

i have 2 4/2ohm amps and a dual 2 ohm subs...how do i wire this? each amp to a voice coil? and if thats it...

would it be. 1) both the positive and negative on both amps to the positive and negative on both voice coils???

or 2) one positive from one amp to one positive voice coil and one negative from the other amp to a negative voice coil??

im pretty sure its #1 but i just want to be sure.

ummmm let me see......

from what im reading, you have 2 subwoofers and 2 amps? and the subs are dual 2 ohm and the amps are 4/2 ohms?

if so what i would do is wire one sub to one amp and the other sub to the other amp.....since they are dual 2 ohms you would have to wire each sub up to 4 ohms each.....

Per Sub/Amp combo

1. wire one positive to one negative

2. then take 2 more wires and one out from the other positive/ and one out from the other negative.... wiring each sub up to 4 ohms which is what each amp would see.....

2 amps...i sub. each amp can be ran at 2 or 4 ohms. the sub is a dual 2 ohm.
