Help Please

Ok, I have just installed my Panasonic CQ-C8803U along with some CDT EF-61CF 6.5" comps powered by Clarion DPX 2250(125w x 2). Sound is excellent, apart from my rears are "popping" when volume is turned up. So I have ordered some ALPINE SPS-57C2 for rear fill which I am running of the HU (HU has 31wrms) So I have my HPF and LPF on my HU turned off and have my amp's HPF set at around 80-100hz.

I have a couple of questions,

1) does this sound like I have everything set up right?

2) how do I control what my rears will play?

3) should I use my HU filters instead of amps?

i would use the x-overs on the headunit. more accurate and depending on amps you can achieve a better slope, like 18db or 24db.
