Alright, so I build a box for my 10W7 and I want to test things out to make sure my 10W7 work and my Nine.2x.
My first question is, how do I hook the 10W7 up to my Nine.2x so it'll see 3ohms? Just connect a positive and negative to one channel or what do I do?
Second question, since I'm just wanting to test it, is it ok if I have 4ga wire touching the terminals on my Nine.2 and then having it touching my terminals on the Nine.2x to give it power? Basically using it to "tap" into the power since I don't have a distro block yet. This is only to test to make sure everything works, I will not be driving around with it like this but is it ok for me to do something like this?
Thanks!
UPDATE:
Ok, so this is what I had. I had a 4ga ground wire to a ground connected directly to my Nine.2x.
Had a 4ga power wire coming from my Nine.2x and into my Nine.2 which had a 4GA already hooked up to the battery.
Had my remote turn on running from my nine.2x to my nine.2
Had the + speaker wire from the W7 go to the A+ and the - speaker wire from the W7 go to the B- for it to be bridged.
Had the RCA's from the back of the deck going to the input on my amp.
Turned the car on, Nine.2x got power, but the sub wasn't getting any kind of power. Decided to take the sub out of the box to make sure it was still connected to the terminal and it was. Tried again with the sub out of the box and you couldn't hear the sub but you could sort of feel the sub moving so it was getting power it seems just not enough to move it and make a sound.
Anybody know what's going on or what I've done wrong?
