Help please,i very unfamiliar with Blue Tooth!!Just 2 or three questions.

My JVC stereo has the KS-BTA100 blue tooth that plugs into the aux in the back of the receiver.Now i rarely ever use a cell phone,when i do i just use mine which is paid by minutes (NOT MONTHLY).The way the instructions explain the installation of this,it says "i can register it in my car".Is this a monthly bill i'm assuming?If i don't/probably would never even use it should i bother installing it?If i just install it any way,register it and don't use it will it affect anything including my head unit and sub woofers.Thanks all suggestions are welcome.I really need some input on this subject.
