Help please - Clarion CZ702 Head Unit

I'm not trolling, I genuinely need help and will post photos if necessary.

Situation:

I bought an Clarion CZ702 on Ebay for what I thought was a good deal ($85). I received it today and now I feel like I was ripped off. The pre-amp RCA outputs were cut off internally (no way to fix it) and I'm wondering if the sound will be decent if I hook up my Polk Audio DB6501 straight from the wire harness line output. The only reason I believe it was not stolen is because it came with the original packaging and matching serial number on the box. Also, the Sirius XM and USB wiring in back was also cut off too short to repair.

I do not yet have an amp, so I was planning on using this head unit as is until I can afford an amp, but when I eventually do want to upgrade, I'm afraid I will need the RCA output.

Questions:

Are the CZ702 internal cross overs as well as the high and low pass filters only usable through the pre-amp RCA outputs or will I still receive the benefit of those features without them? I am trying to figure out what I am really missing out on here and whether or not I should just return this head unit.

Ultimately, I'd like to know if I will get decent sound without the RCA pre-amps, and I'd like to know what I'm missing out on for not having the RCA outputs.

If you can help me out with this, I'd appreciate it very much.

I currently have the same which i bought off of ebay brand new for only 129$ just a week ago and it was all fine as i can tell..

But the point of this headunit is its preamp voltage & going active!

You cutting into the wire to get your amp signal will cut alot of the good features out which you might as well own a regular unit.

What if I could get a credit back? Is it worth anything? I'm on a tight budget right now, but I don't want to waste my time getting a wire harness and installing it to find out it sounds horrible. Can anyone tell me what the RCA outputs give you that you dont get from the wire harness speaker wires?

Thank you for the I put, I'm going to return it. I'm kind of new to upgrading car audio and I have a lot to learn. What does "going active" mean exactly? I'm just very bummed that this process is going to take longer than expected. I hate returning stuff through ebay, it's such a hassle. I wish people would just be honest when selling something like this.

He can't return it. The original ad clearly stated the RCAs connections where cut off. Technically, he's getting what he paid for.
No, I was not the seller. I was looking at the hu and was turned off when I saw it was missing the RCAs connections.

If that was the only problem, then ya, I'd be getting what he said, however, in private message before I bought it, I asked about it, and the seller made it seem like it was something that was simply missing, implying it could be replaced and neglected to say that the unit had been opened (broken "warranty void if broken seal") and tampered with internally in order to remove the ability to reconnect the preamp outputs. Furthermore, the wire harness was supposed to be included, but wasn't, and the RCAs weren't the only thing removed. The Sirius XM wiring is also severed at the base and impossible to fix.

No one would have bought this unit if it was described honestly, not for more than $40 anyway. This item was not as described.

The steering wheel control and microphone adapter were also removed. The auction did not state that and no photos were posted. This was obviously am intentional decision since he posted 4 photos of the box.

If that's the case, file a claim with PayPal.

When I saw the RCAs were missing, that was enough for me to know not to buy it.
