help please....Car problems jus now

i was drivin home from practice and all of a sudden wen i put the car into neutral it dies while driving. It now just dies right after i start even with foot on clutch. can someone help me out? it starts fine. jsut dies

Sounds like a sensor has died. One of my cars did exactly what you describe, it turned out to be the MAP sensor, for some reason it didn't set off the check engine light either.

To get the car running temporarily I unplugged the electrical connection to the MAP sensor, this allowed the engine to run well enough to get to the parts store.

mine didnt die but it did idle sporatically ( SP? ) unplugged the map sensor.... and it would idle fine for a lil while but then would act real screwy...
