Help needed tuning a Class D monoblock AMP

well the only thing i can seem to get to work is using my multi meter to work out the gain, no matter what setting i have it on if i turn up the level it doesnt seem to change the voltage, when im playing the 50Hz track on a loop.....

Am i missing something, there just doesnt seem to have enough punch so i have only got level on just under a quater, im sure it can go much higher but i dont want to blow anything ...

i managed to tune the amp but i still have done it below what the DMM magic number is meant to be as i still dont want to kill it,

turned HPF and LPF to 80Hz on the Headunit and i have tuned the AMP subsonic, phase and stuff to what the sub is meant to be able to do.... so we will see....

did it with a 50Hz test tone, but my rear speakers seem to still be picking up the test tone, is that meant to happen?

yes that will happen the high pass filter only attenuates the tone meaning it'll reduce the loudness but not cancel it out completely its normal if your speakers play it. Also you'd want a -6 db 50hz test tone not just a 0 db 50hz test tone, theres a big difference between the two. You can go past a quarter of the way on the amp, like i said if its going past 75% thats the danger zone, a lot of amps are fine around 50 or 60% depending on the head unit.

Agreed.

It'll still pick up the tone.

And use a -5 or -6 db tone
