Help My subwoofer makes a weird booming noise

I have 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs and when I play music the subs work fine but they make a weird booming noise, I went over the all the wiring of the subs they're wired at 2 ohms. I tried different things to try to make the sound go away like turning down my gain all the way but no difference the only time it sounds normal is when I turn the volume low or when I disconnect one of the rca cables that go to the amp it's really weird and bothering me

No it's only when the musics playing. They're fairly new subs and the amp is also fairly new. It just sounds like bass but the subs make a thumping/boomy sound

My subs make booming noises too. What kind of noise are you wanting out of them?

I fixed my problem, there were little holes in the box from installing amp(had to be moved for a better ground location) I patched them up, and also my rca were connected backwards in the head unit lol all good now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
