Help!!! My subs cut out only when i close my trunk.....

I have 2 cvrs in a middle slotted ported box. So i turn up the volume everything good until i close my trunk it starts cutting out...so i open the trunk again and the subs pounding good....so i check my ground, power, gain etc...and everything good..i close the trunk and they start cutting out again..so i pop the trunk open and i put a 2x4 over the ported slot to cover it and the started cutting...is it the box or the subs??? any suggestions??

i was thinking more around 50 spf. i put some 30 spf on mine and before i knew it they were all burnt to hell...

Point the subs the other way. you know invert them so the *** end gets some sunlight and youll be fine
