Help my amp is clippin and dont kno y

My kicker zx 1500.1 is clippin but only then its up loud. Both that and my 4ch is hooked up to my yellow top in my trunk so if it was a power problem i would hav thought da 4ch would clip 2.

ummm... how do you know its clipping? Do you have an oscilloscope?

"my amp clips when its up loud" makes perfect sense to me.. lol... might wanna make sure your HU isnt clipping the signal before it gets to the amp

and you can get any amp to clip before X amp, depending on how gains are set... power and number of channels is moot
