ok...so recently i had to buy new amp because my old one kept making wierd noises and cutting off my whole system and a whole bunch of stuff...so i just bought i cheap lanzer amp from a garage sale for now until i get my $$ up. So i put it in and it sounds like shit and it cuts my whole system off if i turn it up too loud...so i say to myself, what the hell, ill try and see if my old one works...i do a temp hook up and it works!! and it sounds good....and then when i do a better install of the amp it just does what it did before. Can someone help me out here please!?

obviously something is not right. how far did you investigate the wires? i say it's wires or HU, but leaning towards the wires

how is ur amp mounted...a buddy of mine had his amp mounted to the roof of his trunk and because it was upside down it would cut out....he took it off and layed it flat, it works fine.

Sounds to me like the first problem was install as is the second. Your idea of checking wires is NOT checking wires.

i checked ALL my wires...and my amp is mounted in the back cab of my truck on the side...

ok, i think iv got it...but the bass is goin even when i change the track on a CD...and when i rev my engine to a certain RPM it goes away...

do you have a clean ground? are u using cheap rca's?

well, my ground is the back seat belt harness thats attached to the frame...and i used the same set of RCA's as wut i had before...they are not the best but they worked perfect last time...

have u tried movin the ground to see if the outcome is different, or maybe it's your hu , where u getting alt noise b4?

no, everything was perfect before, no alt noise or nothin...
