ok i got around to wiring my system up today, and i believe i have done everything but i start the turn up the radio and the amp doesn't come on i dont know what to do?

take it out, start over, slowly do step by step and checking power/remote wires with DMM make sure ground isn't bad and if still no go get it replaced.

are the lights coming on the amp?

have you turned the outputs on the head unit on?

check your fuse?

check your ground?

check your remote?

check your power?

Those would be the first things to check.

what do you have in there?

it's the remote, it should be spliced into the remote from your h/u. i'm sure that's your problem. if not your h/u you can run it from anything that turns on when you have your ACC on.

ok on the side of the amp there are plug ins to hook up all the wires, there is a power, a remote ,a ground, and the channels.

hook your remote line to either the power antenna line off your HU or any other object in the car that turns on only when the key turns on

then you don't have enough $ for a system. seriously man if you screw up you can catch your car on fire. i've answered your questions and gave advice. if you don't know what you are doing in any situation you shouldn't be doing it. same goes for anything/anyone if you can't wire a amp you have no business installing a system.

your the most helpful one thats posted, i dont have anything in it, so do i need to pull out the h/u and run a wire form the amp and splice it into theback of the h/u so where

Cool a fellow local.

You should have a remote wire on your HU and that hooks to the remote spot on your amp.
