Help me out please. 1st install

I'm 16 and well ive got this stuff coming my way right now:

2 rockford fosgate HE2 12's, a box for both of them, 520 watt Power Acoustic amp.

I listen to rap so if installed correctly how would this sound? I'm not looking to win any competitions but i do want some nice bass.

second, here is a shot of where i want to mount them in my truck:

Before i throw the box up there and mount it down with a couple L-brackets, is there anything i can do to make it look a little cleaner? I'm thinking tweed or something?

(the platform is my rear bench seat folded down)

do i mount the box with the subs facing the front, or facing the roof? which would be better?

and finally any general tips before i dive into this? Does anyone have a link with some wiring tips for wiring up the amp because im not sure how

Thanks for the awesome link dude. I looked around here too and i have an idea of how to do it now.

I'm going to make a cover for the two black pieces that fits perfect and cover it with tweed then mount the box to that.

It should look OK then i'll mount the amp and i have a cd changer coming i want to mount back there too, and ofcourse the box.

im hoping it sounds and looks decent i cant wait

I'm hoping to mount everything just to the "cover" thatway when i need my seat (very rarely) i can just take out some bolts and undo some wiring and fold it back
