Help, Alpine CDM-7833 backlight won't turn on

Hey guys,

I've noticed that the backlight on my alpine cdm-7833 is not turning on, although all the other buttons are lit.

Any ideas?

Anybody? Searching through the internet this seems to be a known problem but I can't find an answer anywhere....
