I can't say I really enjoy electronics yet with over thirty years in the automotive fields I've done my share and then some. Currently work for my school system in transportation. School buses have made improvements over many years and now there are computers for everything that can be controlled. Multiplex systems are like your hard wire phone systems. Saves wiring yet seems to be working with little issues. Thing to remember - the batteries are still the place to start with trouble-shooting electrical issues. Have an electrical issue - TEST the batteries first and start from the batteries. Many issues have been dirty grounds, broken wires in the battery areas, bad batteries etc.,.
