Alright, so yeah, i'm from Canada and just getting into the whole car audio thing. Kinda started when I bought my old 1980 bronco, got in, turned on the old tape deck and heard nothing but pain filtered through 20 year old wiring. Since then that sound has been tearing away at the fabric of my being and I've decided to step up the dinosaur era tape deck and to put a sound system in this old POS.
Since i'm not going TOO crazy I'm sticking mostly with Pioneers new lower range speakers and one of their new decks with bluetooth compatibility and all that junk.
Basically what i've purchased so far and will be trying to run in my truck is as follows (don't laugh, remember, I'm new.)
Front doors:
PIONEER TS-A642P 6-1/2" 280w 4WAY CAR SPEAKERS
Rear:
PIONEER TS-A832P 240W 6x8 SPEAKERS
Sub:
PIONEER TSSWX310 12" SHALLOW SUBWOOFER WITH ENCLOSURE
Head Unit:
PIONEER PREMIER DEH-P980BT CAR CD/MP3 PLAYER
I'm still looking for an amp and crossover.. maybe even some tweeters but seeing as i'm completely clueless (or at least 90% clueless) I'm here for some help. Here's hoping you're all more helpful than the other regular car forums i'm in where it's all about torque and Horsepower instead of ohms and watts.
