I listen mainly heavy metal and I was wondering if anyone would know if 35HZ would be good to tune to for that and I will also use it everyday.

little higher than 5 hz huh?

For most music 35hz is low enough. Tuning lower dpending on your sub will give you a more even response from the sub so as not to get the a few frequencies that play louder than the rest.

For metal, you want a quick, tight response, the lower you to the faster, better response, try around 25-30 hz
