usually when I play bass loud, the highs are loud too.....
i dont know what you have going in your car, but i'm guessing its not a pretty site.

you are seriously a moron if you are going to throw that in there as a response. i have no system atm. there are no chevy astro vans with 5000 tweeters in them.

my speaker sits right next to me. On my right side. My ear is a little bit deafrer when i get out. I get headaches frequently. I usually take aspirins before i get in. My friends cant stand to ride with me. Even when i turn it down. Ive never had enough pressure in my cab to pop my ear drums atleast =).

i'm going with my nationally used physiology book rather than a website albeit cited. i'm not quite sure why you are arguing in a thread that you don't even know anything about....

i dunno, i'm going by what my teacher and my book is saying. boom vehicle is just a standard term used by adults as a word to describe car audio systems. hence the quotes as it is not a true term.

Sorry lemans, but the book referances "boom vehicle", without specifying the frequency at all. Your right that "boom car" is a standard and general term, GENERAL term, and really speaks only of LOUD music, not just loud bass. Trust me, I really hate to agree with carpenter whoever, but your just being a bit silly. Your not going by what the book is saying, as the book is not being specific at all.
