What is your budget? Brand preference? What you want it to do-bluetooth, Ipod?

i dont really have a budget im just looking for the best for my bucks and i use basically all of the functions but i looked at a few pioneers but i dont think i know what i want i already have a dvd player in it but am debating on a doubled in dvd player but which would be more worth it dvd or just a head unit?

Higher end-Clarion, Alpine, Eclipse and Pioneer all make great stuff. No specific order. Used or own them all still.

Really Pioneer, Alpine, Eclipse and Clarion all make good stuff. I have not used a dvd HU so can not comment. I go for SQ units but thats what I am into. If you give more details about exactly what you want the HU to do then it would be way easier to give you options than listing 30 random good HU.

Some units I like but may not fit your specific purpose.

Alpine 9855, 9861, 9860

Eclipse CD5000, CD7000, 8454, 8455, 8053

Clarion 955MC, DRZ9255

Pioneer 980, 880

well i use alot of ipod stuff never to into the blue tooth but still use it sometimes xm will be a must and at least two aux ports for my ps3 and x360

If you're big on using your iPod in the truck, get an Alpine. Their full-speed interface cable is the best interface for the iPod, no contest.
