headlights dimming when bass hits

I Have a memphis mcd 1100 amp with dual jl audio 12w3v3-2 wired in parralel for 1 ohm @1100 watts rms and whenever the bass hits my headlights dim. I am running a 8 guage power and ground wire. I was told that may be too small and may be the reason the headlights are dimming. Do you you think if I upgraded to a 4 guage wire it would help the problem, or do I need to get a deep cycle battery/ high output allternator? Car is a 06 hyundai sonata. I am also running a JL audio slash 150x2 2 channel amp for my front stage, no rear fill at this time. The problem was there before I installed the jl amp for the fronts though and that has not made it any worse. What do you all think?

First thing you should definitely do is Big 3 if you haven't already... Then 4 gauge would be wise, 1/0 certainly would not hurt.

i would def. upgrade your power wire for the memphis amp to 4g. if you still experience dimming after that run some 1/0g under the hood for big 3

all of the above. IMO, the 8ga is not enough for that amp.

What is the fuse rating for that amp??

since when do you need 40' of wire to run your power and your grounds?

As said earlier you should upgrade your 8 gauge wire to at minimum 4 gauge. The do the 3 big three in 1/0 (you can get welding wire to do this cheaply). With only that 1100 I wouldn't worry about getting a H.O. alt because our sonata's have a pretty beefy 130 amp alt stock.

I ran a memphis 2000D n my stock alt and batt, with just the big three and 1/0 wire and I experienced very slight dimming.

The fuse rating is 80 amp when i first installed it, it has a 60 in the fuse near the battery which I blew in a matter of seconds then i threw a 80 amp in there, still on the same 8 guage wire though. (bad idea I know). Whats this 1/0?

what brand 4 guage kit would you recommend because i have had my experience with wires that say they are a low guage and turn out to be all insulation..
