Just got all my sh1t together and bought my permits to hunt our school's forest. Was shooting my bow yesterday evening when my peep sight messed up, so had to go get it fixed too.

Good luck man, my brother and I went yesterday morning. We saw a nice 8 point (the deer are very small in this county) however he was around 50 yards away through some light brush. Maybe next time he'll give a little better shot.

'05 PSE Whitetail Extreme. Shooting GoldTips and Redhead Carbon Supremes with Blazer vanes. Just bought 2 blade rage broadheads (2" cutting diameter!) after seeing a ton of hype about them last year. The entry/exit wounds are unreal on those things. Also have some G5 Montecs left over from last year.

I got a whisker biscuit and the circle guarded pin sights that came on the bow.

Yup...School owns about 7,000 acres that the state manages as a Wildlife Management area. Right down the road is 44,000 acre national wildlife refugee.. And just another mile or two down the highway is 4,000 acres of national forest land.
