Head Unit w HD to store music

Im lookin to see if there are any double din units that you can add a external hard drive to to select music from or if any have a hd built in for storing music. I know the z3 has a hard drive but im fairly sure its only for navigation use.

I believe that 10gb of the hard drive is dedicated to music storage. I could be wrong though...

Ipod is analog out ,most people complain about the sound quality when they hook it up with car radio.

the ipod sound quality is great on my Alpine CDA-9886... no complaints there... and adhumston is correct... the z3 does have a dedicated 10 gb HD for music... u can even upgrade to the 60 gb with probably 40 gb dedicated for music if you want. I'm not sure how the z3 works compared to the z2 but before u would put in a burned CD with mp3s and load them in, and each CD would be it's own folder. I think the ipod control is not bad at all... and especially the z3 i think the interface is very good on that unit and you can also navigate with voice command... I think you should try out the ipod cable tho, Much better to look for specific songs.
