Fitting an F90BT in my 2002 F-150?

The radio area looks as if it would be able to fit it, yet the size is a din and a half. Anyone have any experience with these vehicles, or other ones for that matter, and fitting in a double din?

you can fit double dins in f150s you will just have to do a little modifications. You will need to cut out the opening a little bit, remove the radio bracket, and where the dash slopes down on the inside you will have to cut that out to. There is a how to but I will have to find it.

I would love you forever if you can find it, because the premium of the single din nav units aren't worth it if I could fit in a double din.

If I take it to a shop, how much do you think it wold cost me to have them do it?

Well I've been reading around and all people say I need to do is trim a little in the subdash and to remove the radio mount support??? Why would I possibly need to do that?

not sure how much different your dash is but my ranger was a 1.8 din, all it took was a dremel to get mine in

I know a guy that go one to fit in there. I think he had to a little bit of work on the dash to get it in there.
